Can I bet on PBA games live while they are happening?

Yes. 18jll supports live in-game betting on PBA matches throughout the season. Odds update in real time during the game, and you can bet on match winner, handicap, and over/under markets while play is ongoing. Live markets are accessible from both the desktop site and the 18jll mobile app.

What currency are bets placed in on 18jll?

All bets on 18jll are placed and settled in Philippine Pesos (PHP). There is no currency conversion at any stage. Your balance, your bet amounts, and any winnings are all shown and processed in PHP. You can deposit via GCash, Maya, Philippine online banking, or bank transfer.

Are esports markets available on 18jll?

Yes. 18jll covers Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MPL-PH, M-Series), Valorant Champions Tour, Dota 2 major tournaments, and CS2 events. Bet types include match winner, map handicap, total maps, and outright tournament winner markets. Esports markets are updated based on the active tournament schedule.

How do parlays work on 18jll?

A parlay lets you combine multiple selections from different events into one bet. The odds for each selection are multiplied together, which increases the potential return. However, all selections must win for the parlay to pay out — if any one selection loses, the entire parlay loses. Parlay rules and minimum/maximum stake amounts are shown in the bet slip when you add selections.

Betting Markets Available on 18jll

18jll offers a wide range of bet types across sports. Whether you like straightforward match winner bets or more detailed handicap and proposition markets, the platform covers both.

Match Winner

The most straightforward bet — pick which team or player wins the game, match, or fight. Available for all sports on 18jll with pre-match and live options.

Handicap Betting

A virtual point spread is applied to balance the contest between an underdog and a heavy favourite. Popular for basketball where large spreads are common in PBA and NBA matchups.

Over / Under (Totals)

Bet on whether the total combined score will be higher or lower than a set number. One of the most popular bet types for basketball fans following the PBA and NBA.

Parlay / Accumulator

Combine multiple selections into one bet. All selections must win for the parlay to pay out, but the combined odds produce a much higher potential return than single bets.

Live / In-Play Betting

Odds update in real time during a live match. You can place bets while watching the game unfold — adjusting your position based on what's actually happening on the court or field.

Outright / Futures

Bet on who will win a tournament, conference, or championship before it starts. PBA Governors' Cup winners, NBA champions, and tournament MVPs are popular outright markets.

In Depth

Why 18jll Is a Good Fit for Filipino Sports Bettors

Sports That Match How Filipinos Actually Watch

A lot of international sportsbooks carry Philippine sports as a minor afterthought. 18jll is built for the Philippine market, which means the sports selection starts with what Filipino fans actually watch and bet on — not the other way around. PBA coverage is prominent and kept current throughout all three annual conferences. UAAP volleyball and basketball are available during the active season. Boxing events headlined by Filipino fighters are given proper market depth. And esports, particularly Mobile Legends and Valorant, are treated as first-class sports on the platform.

That matters because it affects the quality of the odds and the variety of markets available for each event. When a sportsbook genuinely prioritises a sport, you see more bet types per game, more live markets, and better coverage of lower-profile matchups — not just championship games.

Live Betting Is Where the Interface Shines

Pre-match betting is straightforward on any platform. Live betting is where things get more demanding — odds change fast, markets open and close, and you need to be able to find your selection and confirm your bet before the moment passes. The 18jll live betting interface is designed with this in mind. The layout is clean, markets are organised by sport and competition, and the bet slip is always accessible without navigating away from the current game view.

For basketball specifically, 18jll's live interface covers quarter-by-quarter lines, next-basket markets, and live spreads that adjust dynamically as teams go on scoring runs. This makes watching a PBA game while betting on it a genuinely interactive experience rather than just a parallel activity.

Esports as a Legitimate Betting Category

Esports betting has grown substantially in the Philippines over the last several years, driven largely by Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's huge fanbase. Filipino teams compete at the highest international level in MLBB — the M-Series world championships have featured Filipino champions — and that competitive success has built a knowledgeable betting community that follows rosters, form, and tournament brackets closely.

18jll treats esports with the same level of market coverage as traditional sports. MPL-PH regular season games, playoffs, and the M-Series are all available. Valorant Champions Tour events, Dota 2 major tournaments, and CS2 competitions round out the esports section. Bet types mirror those available for traditional sports: match winner, map handicap, total maps, and outright tournament winner markets.

Depositing and Managing Your Bets in PHP

All betting on 18jll is in Philippine Pesos. Your balance, odds, minimum and maximum bet amounts, and any winnings are all displayed and processed in PHP. GCash and Maya are supported for deposits, along with Philippine online banking and bank transfer. Funds reach your betting balance quickly once a deposit is confirmed, so you won't miss a pre-match window because of a slow transaction.

Betting Responsibly on 18jll

Sports betting is entertainment. It's genuinely enjoyable when you approach it with a clear budget and a sense of what you're comfortable losing. It becomes a problem when the goal shifts from entertainment to chasing losses or recovering money. 18jll provides deposit limits, session time reminders, and self-exclusion tools through the Responsible Gaming section — these are available to every member and can be adjusted at any time.

No betting strategy, system, or odds analysis guarantees a profit. Outcomes in sports are inherently unpredictable — that's what makes them worth watching. Bet within your means, and treat any winnings as a bonus on top of the entertainment value. You must be 21 years of age or older to bet on 18jll. All betting terms and conditions are outlined in the Terms & Conditions.

If you want to explore more game categories alongside sports betting, the Platform section covers what's available across slots, live casino, and eBingo. Check the Promotions page for any currently active sports betting rewards for your account.
